Batal-Manali

The previous night at Batal people coming from Manali side had told us that there was big watercrossings on the way in one which even trucks had got stuck. We knew that if we left early before the sunrise, we would have less snow melting and hence less water in the streams.. So we got up real early and by 6:30 we were on our way. Even after Batal there was no road. Also we saw large chunks of ice lying on the slopes which were starting to melt..

So in short, we encountered a lot of water on the road. Most of the places i dint even stop to take pictures as we wanted to cover the maximum distance we coulde before the sun became brighter..
As the sun rose..
