Memoirs of my Travels: Mysore

We reached Mysore, also called the cultural capital of Karnataka. The first place we went to was the Mysore Palace (click on the pic to see the larger version)..

Sadly camera were not allowed inside so could not get the pics of the beautiful decor of the palace.. Is ws really colourful with touch of British architecture.
As we came outside the sun was setting..

Many days the palace is lit up at night. We were lucky and that day was on of them.. Although we had to wait for 2 hours for lights to come on, it was worth the wait. First only the lights inside are put on(dont mind the blurr, i dint have a tripod)..

Then all the 27000 (and im not joking about the number) bilbs lit up..

Finally the view from outside..

From the palace we went to the Vrindavan gardens to the the musical fountains. How i hoped that i had a tripod. But the positive side was that i got better at keeping my hand still while clicking..
